I agree that this is a great phone & has lot to offer but recently I got to know that after signing up for a contract, that if any sms is too large then it will convert it to mms for which I have to pay extra. I am not happy with this. Is anyone having any suggestion ? How can i get rid of this?
I Love this phone so much, infect my friends too! Great apps, very quick, very responsive and a good battery life. Best phone I owned yet, I upgraded from iPhone 4 & I am very pleased with Galaxy S2. Much better then my previous one.
Battery is not that much bad I have used it, it is not as bad as on some other phones. But it starts to drop quickly when you use it for games and browsing. All the high-end smartphones have this problem.

A great looking phone which is pretty simple to use
Don’t know who was the intelligent buddy who decided that S2 will get the ability to text 10 persons max only at a time – the ultimate moron. The screen is a disaster in the sunshine not even nearly good to my previously owned N8.Furthermore I do not like the messages to be threaded as I like to sort it the ways I desire – but the same moron decides again the otherwise method.On S2 I am bounded to modify only specific parts of the screen, I had not got the authority to change the screen as per my liking.
A fantastic phone, a lot better than iPhones due to the smooth & quick interface. It took ages when u start browsing & navigating through the phone. The screen of S2 is the best in my opinion. I haven’t seen any screen better than this till yet. The interface is superb & the applications all run smoothly and are really nice to use. The Only problem is the music program. When playing music, the background is having an image of flowers with a pinky-orange background, I don’t use the music much on the phone, not because of this, but because I have an iPod Touch. And The Touch screen on the iPod touch, is no near that of the Samsung Galaxy S2. S2 become so slow & irresponsive when playing on music.
Best smartphone I ever used. Galaxy S2 is really incredible. A big cheers for Samsung. Good going……

Battery… battery life is good for a Smartphone, but I carry 2 spare & charged in my wallet. Ankor do a 1900mAh battery.
You can’t do this with iPhones locked-in battery.
Screen in sunlight… put the stock App on your home screen… on full brightness, the screen is amazing in full direct sunlight. (I don’t use Autobrightness)
Music Player… Dont like the stock player, then get another one! I use WinAmp for Android. Thats the beauty of being able to fully customize your on screen environment with Android.
I have had my S2 for 7 months now and it is still incredible. Hope this helps.

I was using HTC and fed up with it so I bought S2. Now it is samsung so we all know that it has amazing display. It does have battery problem and they are planning to sort out. With amazing screen resolution and sensitive in use this phone is awesome. The speed is fast and size is big… well its beautiful and stylish with 1GBb of RAM and 16 GB internal storage wow!! that is really cool!
